Job Summary
Fixed Asset Accountant to own the end-to-end global financial accounting and reporting for fixed asset costs, ensure accurate capitalization and classification, manage depreciation and lease accounting under ASC 842, and drive improvements in data quality. You will partner with Accounting Policy on asset classifications, manage asset lifecycle and impairment assessments, support month-end and quarter-end closes, build financial models for capacity planning and cost optimization, and collaborate with Procurement and Infrastructure teams to translate technical requirements into financial implications. The role requires extensive fixed asset accounting experience, IFRS/GAAP familiarity, strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to develop scalable processes and automated solutions for rapid growth. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Fixed asset accounting experience
- Depreciation methodologies
- ASC 842 lease accounting
- IFRS and other local GAAPs a plus
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration
- Proficiency with financial systems, data visualization, and database querying
