Job Summary
The Fixed Asset Accountant will manage the accounting of capital assets through their life cycle, including recording, depreciating, tracking, and disposal of assets. Responsibilities include preparing monthly reconciliations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting improvements in Oracle fixed asset accounting systems. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of experience in Fixed Asset accounting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in Fixed Assets accounting
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong knowledge of best-in-class accounting processes
- Working experience with and knowledge of accounting software systems (preferably Oracle)
- Demonstrated experience in asset management database tools
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional Excel and Word skills - comfortable with pivot tables, sumifs, vlookups and match
- Experience automating processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Team player with ability to meet deadlines
