Job Summary
FIU Analyst role supporting AML/CTF monitoring and surveillance for IBKR in the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities include assisting in monitoring and surveillance of cashiering transactions by IBKR clients in APAC, communicating with clients on monitoring-related matters, reviewing and proposing enhancements to surveillance systems/reports, managing projects to implement changes due to regulatory updates, and staying current with market conduct, AML and related regulations in APAC and internationally. Requires 1-3 years of AML/CTF experience, experience handling regulatory inquiries, fluent English, strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills, solid academic background, and familiarity with technology applications to regulatory problems; AI/Machine Learning knowledge is advantageous. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with AML/CTF Rules
- Experience in dealing with exchange and regulatory enquiries
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Good communication skills and customer service experience would be advantageous
- Good quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Solid academic background with relevant qualifications
- Knowledge on AI/Machine Learning would be advantageous
- High degree of comfort with computers and technology and understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems (or ability to develop this rapidly)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision
