Job Summary
As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will provide service to applicants seeking home loans, manage loan applications, maintain customer communication, and mentor other Loan Officers. Your responsibilities will include gathering documentation, reviewing regulatory disclosures, and managing a pipeline of loans. Key qualifications include a valid NMLS number, experience in loan origination, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You may also participate in community outreach and industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMLS number
- At least 1-year experience originating VA, FHA, Conventional and VHDA loans
- Proven sales record based on closed loan production
- Sources of referral business for purchase transactions
- Awareness of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA and VHDA underwriting guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of Encompass software
