Fitter Welder

Fitter Welder role responsible for welding metal components to form final products for forestry equipment. Responsibilities include reading and following technical drawings/blueprints, selecting appropriate materials, following safety protocols and PPE, operating cranes for large welding jobs, inspecting welds to ensure quality, calibrating welding machines, repairing welds as needed, and coordinating with supervisors to meet production schedules. Skills include reading fabrication drawings and blueprints, collaborating with team members, problem solving under changing conditions, and physical ability to stand, climb, kneel, and bend while welding in environments with temperature variation.
