Job Summary
Fitter/Welder responsible for fabricating miscellaneous metal projects, including cutting and welding using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment; tasks include preparing and assembling welds, reading blueprints, flame-cutting with oxy-acetylene torches, MIG/TIG welding, FCAW/SMAW, and maintaining work areas; shifts include day and night, with a $2 shift differential on nights; requires HS diploma or GED and ability to pass a welding test.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a structural welding environment is preferred
- Ability to pass a Fillet Weld Test.
