Job Summary
Fitter Welder responsible for welding metal components to fabricate products for forestry applications. Reads and interprets blueprints to determine welding requirements, measures and fabricates parts without jigs, selects appropriate materials, operates lifting devices as needed, ensures weld quality through inspection and calibration, and collaborates with the team to meet production schedules. Required Qualifications
- Experience in both fitting and welding metal components
- Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, procedures, and work instructions
- Experience measuring and fabricating metal components using various tools and equipment without jigs and fixtures
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for welding requirements
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with coworkers and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Physical ability to stand, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods while welding
- Extreme temperature exposure tolerance
