Job Summary
Fit and weld sub-assemblies into final products, including tack-welding pieces together using mig welders. Perform flat and horizontal groove and fillet welds while accurately measuring within specified tolerances. Read blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings to align and fit fabricated metal parts according to layouts and work orders. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 4pm to 1:30am. Arcosa Shoring Products manufactures high-quality trench shields and shoring products for the construction industry.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year mig welding experience
- Qualified to weld steel and aluminum
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Must be able to pass a 2 part weld test as part of the interview process
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will hold a AWS Certification
- Experience reading specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints
