Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain earthmoving equipment, hydraulic control systems, and electrical components across industrial operations. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures while conducting preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs. Interpret technical documents, estimate materials, and manage documentation for service records. Lead failure analysis, optimize mechanical systems, and oversee project schedules and budgets. Liaise with clients to provide tailored solutions, prepare quotations, and maintain long-term relationships. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while mentoring junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification, engineering degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a similar role
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent diagnostic skills
- Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining performance standards
- Pride in workmanship and company-provided equipment/vehicle
- Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
