Job Summary
Fitness Trainer role at Planet Fitness focusing on delivering high-quality coaching and customer service. Responsibilities include observing participants, informing them of corrective measures for skill improvement, instructing on exertion levels and breathing techniques, evaluating individuals’ abilities and physical conditions to develop suitable training programs, monitoring progress, enforcing safety rules, and administering first aid or referring injured persons to physicians. Requires certification to assist and coach members (group course provided if not currently certified); candidates must be 18+ with a High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associates degree preferred). Six months of face-to-face retail/customer service experience or 1 year of fitness experience is preferred, with bilingual skills a plus. Required Qualifications
