Job Summary
Design individual exercise programs for members based on their experience, medical background, and goals. Develop and implement safe, effective exercise plans for individuals with medical clearance. Provide superior customer service to members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring an exceptional "Judgement Free" experience. Continually stand, walk, and talk to members in person and on the phone during shifts. Demonstrate diplomacy, empathy, and problem-solving skills while training clients at all fitness levels. This role requires the ability to lift 45+ pounds and includes a $1/hour premium for evening shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. NCCA-accredited certifications like NASM or ACE are preferred, with reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 45+ pounds
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Punctuality and reliability is a must
- National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accredited certifications such as: NASM, ACSM, ACE, NCSF, NSCA, ISSA and/or WITS
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service experience preferred
- A passion for fitness and health
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
