Job Summary
Facilitate the Planet Fitness PE@PF program by creating and following the schedule while instructing members on proper equipment use. Consult with clients regarding fitness goals, design simple workout programs, and produce bi-weekly exercise updates. Maintain club operations by keeping equipment oiled and responding to member inquiries professionally. Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Work full-time hours with steady pay regardless of attendance, requiring punctuality and a positive attitude. Certification is ideal but flexible for candidates working toward it.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for fitness and health!
- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability is a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member's expectations.
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified ideally, but will be flexible with good candidates working towards certification
