Job Summary
Lead group exercise and 1:1 personal training for older adults within a Senior Living Community; develop and grow the FOX Wellness program; collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team (PT/OT/SLP) to refer clients and expand service offerings; travel to patient residences for house-call sessions and to expand into additional communities; educate residents and families on wellness program benefits and increase participation; comfortable presenting wellness benefits; required to meet travel and documentation needs and to maintain CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; OR Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA preferred); OR prior fitness training experience with willingness to obtain CPT certification
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to travel between Senior Living Communities and patient residences as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; responsive to email, Teams, text, and phone
