Job Summary
Lead group exercise and personal training for older adults embedded within a Senior Living Community. Deliver evidence-based fitness programming through group classes, 1:1 and partner training, and home/house-call sessions. Collaborate with FOX Physical and Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists to support referrals and resident engagement. Educate families and residents on wellness program benefits, drive program participation, and expand the wellness portfolio across communities with a growth-oriented mindset. Requirements include a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology or CPT certification, CPR, ability to travel between communities, and strong communication skills. Flexible schedule with part-time hours (~4 hours/week) and potential to grow caseload and hours across additional communities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; OR Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA preferred); OR prior fitness training experience with willingness to obtain CPT certification
- Current CPR certification
- Experience or strong interest in working with older adults in a proactive, wellness-focused setting
- Ability to travel between Senior Living Communities and patient residences as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; responsive to email, Teams, text, and phone
