Job Summary
Fitness Specialist conducts fitness assessments and leads training sessions (cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and endurance) for the population; provides guidance on nutrition and lifestyle to support health goals; monitors and evaluates performance; maintains records of attendance and outcomes; collaborates with client contacts to integrate training into the program; stays updated on fitness trends; supervises exercise areas; assists with equipment, daily administrative duties, and promotions as assigned; requires active NCCA accredited certification and CPR, with 0-1 years supervising adults and a B.S. in Exercise Science/Kinesiology (preferred); US citizenship required; fully in-person role in Cape May, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Active NCCA accredited fitness certification (ACE, NASM, NCCPT, NCSF, AFAA, ACSM or NSCA) - required
- CPR certification - required
- U.S. citizenship required as this is a federal agency
- 0-1 years experience supervising adults during exercises
- B.S. in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or in related health/fitness field (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
