Job Summary
Fitness Manager responsible for building and leading a Personal Training team, coaching and developing Personal Trainers, achieving Club KPIs, ensuring high-quality Personal Training sessions aligned with GoodLife standards, and collaborating with other club departments to enhance culture. Must hold a current nationally recognized Personal Training certification and have demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams, achieving service and sales goals, delivering results, and contributing to an inclusive, engaging club environment. Compensation includes a base wage with potential bonuses and commissions, and the role is based in Sudbury, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Current, nationally recognized Personal Training certification
- Minimum 6 months in Assistant Fitness Manager role
- 1-year Personal Training experience or related health/fitness industry experience
- Proven success in leading, training, and motivating diverse teams to achieve performance goals
- Success in achieving individual and team service and sales goals
- Skilled in customer service and relationship building
- Commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion and community involvement
- Ability to live the organization's core values (Caring, Happiness, Integrity, Peak Attitude, Passion, Personal Fitness, Trust)
- Ability to coach and develop a successful team of Personal Trainers
- Experience managing Personal Training sessions to GoodLife standards
