Job Summary
Teach up to 20 participants through the Pure Barre experience, leading classes in early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Plan and prepare diligently before each session by studying choreography and maintaining a tidy study area. Learn full choreography changes quarterly while demonstrating full body pushups and lifting hand weights to maintain high energy for 50-minute sessions. Complete a 4-day corporate training and significant at-home study before certification, requiring a minimum one-year commitment to teaching. Maintain a confident, outgoing personality with musicality to keep the rhythm and count to the beat of the music.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to teach a minimum of 5 classes per week
- Classes offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Plan and prepare diligently before each class
- Study of choreography
- Class planning prior to each class
- Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
- Assist with keeping the study tidy
- Lift hand weights
- Demonstrate full body pushups
- Maintain high-energy for 50-minute class
- Enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
- Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service
- Active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Natural willingness to go above and beyond
- Confidence to energetically command a room of 20 people
- Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music
- Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept
- Complete a 4-day training at one of our corporate training centers
- Significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification
