Job Summary
Teach up to 20 participants through the Pure Barre experience, leading classes that utilize ballet barre for small, isometric movements. Plan and prepare diligently before each session, including studying choreography and learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis. Maintain high energy for 50-minute classes while lifting hand weights and demonstrating full-body pushups. Assist with keeping the studio tidy and command a room of 20 people with confidence. Availability includes early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of five classes per week required. Complete a 4-day corporate training and significant at-home study before certification. Join a total body workout concept with over 500 studios in the United States and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to teach a minimum of 5 classes per week
- Classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Plan and prepare diligently before each class
- Study of choreography and class planning prior to each class
- Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
- Assist with keeping the study tidy
- Lift hand weights
- Demonstrate full body pushups
- Maintain high-energy for 50-minute class
- Enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
- Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service
- Active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Natural willingness to go above and beyond
- Confidence to energetically command a room of 20 people
- Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music
- Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept
- Complete a 4-day training at one of our corporate training centers
- Significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification
- Minimum one-year commitment to teaching
