Job Summary
Deliver a 10-session after-school fitness course with clear objectives and structured lesson plans; maintain safety-first routines, including appropriate warm-ups and cool-downs; differentiate activities to support varied fitness levels, confidence, and mobility needs; establish positive group management and inclusive participation norms; communicate professionally with site staff and Concorde program contacts regarding attendance and session completion tracking; adapt pacing and activities based on space, equipment availability, and student readiness while maintaining intended outcomes; model and teach safe form cues and reinforce safe movement practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credits (or Associate degree in progress/completed)
- Experience leading group fitness, physical activity programming, coaching, or youth wellness activities
- Experience working with school-age students in structured settings (school, after-school, camps, youth programs)
- Strong facilitation skills, clear communication, and comfort managing active groups safely
- Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to follow school policies and program boundaries
- Ability to model and teach safe form cues and maintain an inclusive, supportive environment
