Lead fitness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings at the Renaud Center, instructing Strength and Silver Sneakers Cardio groups while providing top-tier customer service. Teach individuals and assist with substitute teaching as needed. Maintain assigned equipment with care and attend mandatory in-service training. Applicants must hold specialized certification from a nationally recognized organization like ACE or AFAA, along with first aid and CPR certification. This part-time role within the Recreation Department supports O'Fallon's community wellness initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Know first aid and CPR
- Have specialized certification training from a nationally recognized organization, such as ACE or AFAA
- Exhibit self-motivation by always looking for ways to improve their knowledge and skills
- Show great respect for others and their property
- Maintain their assigned equipment with care

- Be certified in Silver Sneaker fitness programming
- Be comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals
- Be available for morning instructors on Tuesdays and Thursdays
