Job Summary
The Fitness Instructor - Boxing Coach will develop and lead safe, engaging boxing training sessions that promote physical conditioning and technical skill development. Responsibilities include instructing participants in boxing techniques, fostering discipline and accountability, and mentoring athletes in personal growth. Candidates should possess a commitment to teaching respect and hard work through boxing, demonstrate strong communication skills, and have a comprehensive knowledge of boxing training principles. The role requires the ability to work with youth and various skill levels while creating a motivating training environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with youth and/or community-based programs
- USA Boxing certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
- May require possession of or ability to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a boxing coach, trainer, or competitive boxer
- Background in strength and conditioning or sports performance training
- Competition coaching experience preferred
