Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of qualified Personal Trainers while managing their schedules and floor hours within approved budgets. Coach trainers on sales conversations, client service, programming, and member follow-up to drive revenue through consultations, promotions, and consistent outreach. Ensure trainers deliver high-quality programs that support client goals and retention, maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, measurements, and progress checks. Run regular one-on-one and team meetings to review performance, goals, and areas for improvement, addressing employee relations matters as needed. Execute monthly marketing initiatives to create new business by engaging members off the floor and communicate business results and action plans to the General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR/AED certification
- basic First Aid knowledge
- Current nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification
- four-year related degree such as Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Physical Education, Nutrition, or a similar field
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift heavy weights, squat, bend, reach, spot members, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
