Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of qualified Personal Trainers while managing their schedules, floor hours, and non-session hours within approved budgets. Coach trainers on sales conversations, client service, programming, and member follow-up to drive revenue through consultations, promotions, and retention. Ensure trainers deliver high-quality programs that support client goals and retention by addressing performance issues and maintaining current certifications. Oversee accurate documentation of Personal Training services, including assessments, measurements, programming, and progress checks, while executing monthly marketing initiatives to create new business. Communicate business results and action plans to the General Manager, ensuring the team stays aligned with company standards and KPIs in a high-energy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR/AED certification
- basic First Aid knowledge
- Current nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification
- four-year related degree such as Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Physical Education, Nutrition, or a similar field
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift heavy weights
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to spot members
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Personal Training management experience
