Job Summary
Fitness Consultant responsible for obtaining new club memberships through calling leads from marketing, cold calling prospects, conducting club tours, and contests. Meets challenging monthly quotas, typically aiming for 50+ new memberships per month, and closes sales using solution-selling techniques to address each potential member’s needs. Requires strong phone and presentation skills, ability to identify customer needs, demonstrate products and services, and present tailored solutions. Must be productive within 30 days of starting, work well in a team environment, and communicate effectively. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred. Responsibilities include lead follow-up within 48 hours, converting a portion of calls into tours, daily planning, and delivering club product knowledge. Experience with sales cycles, quota-driven environments, and delivering excellent customer service is desired. Knowledge of fitness programs and programs’ benefits, plus proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with club-management systems, are included as desirable capabilities.
