Job Summary
Fitness Consultant responsible for selling club memberships through lead-driven activities, including calling leads, conducting club tours, and contests. Must meet and exceed quotas (50+ new memberships monthly within 60 days, with contextually adjusted seasonal targets), quickly identify member needs, and present solutions using the club’s products and services. Role emphasizes solution selling, quota attainment, teamwork, and ongoing product knowledge; Spanish-speaking is preferred. Responsibilities include following up with leads within 48 hours, planning each day, delivering effective tours, and contributing to local marketing efforts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to sell and train others to sell
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and passion for fitness
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands
- Flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work assignments
- Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and members
- Proficiency in computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Superior organization and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Team player with the ability to work within the organization to achieve company objectives
- Knowledge of workout Anytime business systems (or similar) and related reporting tools
