Job Summary
Design logistical blueprints for group classes and personal training sessions, mapping workout flows, timing, and equipment setups to ensure flawless execution. Serve as the on-floor anchor leading high-energy classes or private sessions, managing unexpected injuries and equipment issues while maintaining an elite client experience. Maintain pristine gym spaces by overseeing teardown, sanitization, and reorganization of studios and locker rooms. Review client performance metrics and attendance trends to refine programming adjustments for better retention and results. Collaborate with maintenance, leasing, and other teams to drive member engagement and align coaching efforts with building goals. Requires 2+ years of personal training experience, current NASM/ACE certification, and tech-savviness with booking tools.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience providing personal training and teaching a variety of group fitness classes (e.g. strength, bootcamp, HIIT, yoga, or similar) preferably within a large campus, country club, or boutique wellness environment
- Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience delivering five-star service in high-volume or high-touch environments
- Effective problem-solver, resolving complex issues quickly while protecting the guest experience
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience
- Tech-savvy, with experience using booking, scheduling, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, event platforms)
- Adaptable and confident learning new systems for membership and program management
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialties such as yoga, Pilates, aquatics, or other wellness modalities
