Job Summary
Fitness Center Operations Representative responsible for delivering outstanding member experiences and supporting day-to-day facility operations. The role includes guiding staff, engaging with members, conducting facility rounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness, assisting with memberships and programs, opening/closing duties, documenting incidents and feedback, and supporting operational initiatives. Ideal candidates balance customer service with safety and operational responsibilities, demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities, work independently and as part of a team, and obtain BLS CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in health and fitness, customer service, recreation, business operations, or youth programming
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn department-specific software systems
- Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification within ninety (90) days of hire
