Job Summary
Join Allina Health as a part-time Fitness and Aquatics Representative, supporting aquatics and fitness programs. Responsibilities include conducting and assisting clients with fitness and aquatic programs, providing hands-on assistance, monitoring progress, managing program members, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and performing administrative tasks. Candidates must have an Associate's or Vocational degree in a health-related field. Preferred qualifications include experience in teaching aquatic skills. Certification requirements include current BLS and Lifeguard certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Vocational degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or other health related field
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Therapeutic Recreation or related field
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days)
- Lifeguard Certification from American Red Cross within 2 weeks of hire required
Desired Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years experience in teaching aquatic skills
- ACSM Certification – Inclusive Fitness Trainer or Certified Exercise Physiologist preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must meet at least ONE of the BLS certification requirements
