Job Summary
Fitch High School seeks a Band Line/Woodwind Advisor to lead and develop the Flag and Rifle Line and assist with woodwind sectionals. Responsibilities include supervising line rehearsals and performances, collaborating with Line Captains to develop routines and rehearsal goals, sharing knowledge to enhance the Flag and Rifle Line’s vision, and maintaining high ethical standards. The role requires teaching and modeling character, strong teamwork with Band Staff, and effective communication with students, staff, directors, and parents. Must attend line and marching band rehearsals and performances and support the overarching band program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and Appropriate Ohio Teaching License or Pupil Activity Permit
- Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training Certificate of Completion
- Favorable State and Federal background checks
- Negative Drug Screen Result
- At least two years' experience performing with a collegiate marching band
- Extensive knowledge of flag and rifle technique and instruction
