Job Summary

Convene monthly meetings with youth, family, providers, clinicians, and school representatives. Deliver intensive family therapy to youth and families in home or community-based settings. Develop and implement treatment plans, conduct comprehensive clinical assessments including CANS and CRAFFT, and maintain accurate eHR documentation per agency guidelines. Meet assigned youth and families three to five times weekly to ensure coordinated care, provide crisis stabilization and safety planning, and place or monitor referrals for medical, social, or therapeutic services. Carry a caseload of five to six youth while attending daily wrap rounds and required supervision. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned geographic region for primarily home and community visits.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a mental health field (counseling, family therapy, social work, psychology, addiction, expressive therapies, etc.) from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed or license-eligible (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC LMFT, LADC 1)
  • Experience navigating any of the child/family-serving systems and experience advocating for family members who are involved with behavioral health systems
  • Must maintain certification in the Massachusetts CANS
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
  • Carry a caseload of 5-6 youth

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferably knowledgeable about the communities we serve
  • Preferably familiarity with psychotherapy techniques
  • Fluency in a second language (eg. Spanish, Haitian Creole)
  • Computer literate and able to quickly learn new software applications
  • Strong clinical formulation and diagnostic skills preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with CBHI services preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care service delivery and family systems theory preferred
