Job Summary
Provide intensive family therapy and stabilization services to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance and their families in home and community settings. Deliver 3–5 weekly sessions of family therapy and support as clinically indicated. Complete comprehensive assessments including CANS, CRAFFT, diagnostic evaluations, and SED determinations. Co-facilitate team meetings to review and update treatment plans while developing individualized plans highlighting strengths, needs, and goals. Conduct safety planning and risk management at intake and throughout treatment. Partner with FIT Family Partners and Outreach Workers to ensure seamless care delivery and collaborate with schools and community resources. Support transitions to community-based treatment after discharge and provide after-hours phone support during on-call rotation. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening availability up to 8:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a mental health-related field and license-eligible in MA
- Master's in related field with at least 2 years of experience working with children with emotional and behavioral needs
- CANS-MA certification
- Knowledge of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), treatment techniques, and child-serving systems
- Familiarity with behavioral modification, crisis intervention, and family systems approaches
- Experience providing family-centered interventions and utilizing family therapy strategies to engage and support youth, caregivers, and the family system
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
