Job Summary
Greet and assist customers by identifying their needs, recommending products, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up. Demonstrate merchandise, replenish shelves per guidelines, and restock floor items while maintaining pricing accuracy. Keep work areas clean and well-stocked, operate the Point of Sale register, and assist with seasonal merchandise moves. Perform tasks under general supervision while adhering to all company policies and procedures. Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, restaurants, and resorts as part of the compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Must be able to lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly
- Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more
- Must be able to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Must be able to occasionally work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to occasionally work in noisy environments
- Must be able to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
- Must be able to occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Must be able to constantly stand and/or walk during shift
- Must be able to constantly communicate with others to exchange information
- Must be able to occasionally repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
