Job Summary
The Sales Outfitter assists customers with product selection and information, demonstrates products, and remains a product expert through ongoing knowledge training. Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting programs (including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up), replenishing and merchandising floor displays, maintaining pricing and signing, providing a friendly shopping experience, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires strong customer service, effective communication, ability to upsell and guide customers to buying decisions, and ability to operate a POS system. Part-time role with Bass Pro Shops offering employee discounts and benefits; physical duties include standing/walking, occasional lifting, and ladder use.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other associates
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale (POS) register system
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change
