Job Summary
Cut, trim, and bone fish carcass sections or fillets to reduce cooking cuts. Clean, prepare, and discard inedible parts of seafood. Weigh fillets and portions for individual servings. Receive, inspect, and store seafood upon delivery while recording quantities received and issued. Perform basic cuts, scaling, and portions including bias and square cuts. Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma, two-three years experience, and ability to use cutting utensils and operate electric pallet jacks or forklifts. Lift up to 100 pounds regularly. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-three years related experience and/or training
- Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift
- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
- Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Close, distance, color and peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- The ability to adjust focus
