Fiscal Management Services Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary
FMS Customer Service Specialist handles all general inbound calls and emails, promptly responds to questions, troubleshoots technical problems, and maintains accurate records within the FMS Program. Responsibilities include diagnosing customer issues, providing guidance on proper completion of mandated documentation (activity notes, timesheets, training verifications), documenting interactions and updated demographics within the agency database within 24 hours, and coordinating with internal FMS staff to ensure follow-up on processes such as new hire paperwork and timesheet/invoice processing. Requires excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, web-based systems), strong teamwork, exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Must have reliable transportation and pass criminal history clearances. Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: minimum 1 year in services with individuals with disabilities or related field; 2 years of experience with individuals with disabilities may be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year working with individuals with disabilities or in a human services or related field required
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must complete criminal history clearances – PA State Police Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance
