Job Summary
Initiate and complete the self-direction process with people we support and brokers while explaining fiscal procedures and required waiver documentation. Serve as a liaison between individuals, families, brokers, and OPWDD, providing copies of all written policies and procedures. Monitor budget utilization, perform monthly financial statement oversight, and attend Life Plan meetings semi-annually to assess service satisfaction and financial budget oversight. Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations by performing OPWDD and compliance reviews of Life Plans, gathering required documentation for Community Hab/FI services, and entering data into the CHOICES system. Complete all assignments timely while ensuring understanding of field changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience in related field
- valid New York State driver's license
