Job Summary
Initiate and complete the self-direction process for people with intellectual disabilities and their families by explaining fiscal procedures, waiver documentation, and staff hiring requirements. Serve as a liaison between supported individuals, their families, brokers, and OPWDD while monitoring budget utilization and performing monthly financial statement oversight. Provide quality assurance and administrative support, including data entry into the CHOICES system, record keeping, and gathering documentation for Community Hab/FI services. Conduct OPWDD and compliance reviews of Life Plans, attending semi-annual meetings to assess service satisfaction and budget adherence. Ensure understanding of field changes and maintain compliance with all government and agency regulations.
