Job Summary
Initiate and complete the self-direction process for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families by explaining fiscal procedures, waiver documentation, and staff hiring requirements. Serve as a liaison between supported individuals, their families, brokers, and OPWDD while monitoring budget utilization and performing monthly financial statement oversight. Conduct quality assurance, administrative support, and data entry into the CHOICES system, including record keeping for Community Hab/FI services and OPWDD compliance reviews of Life Plans. Attend semi-annual Life Plan meetings to assess service satisfaction and financial budget oversight. Ensure understanding of field changes and adherence to all government regulations and operating standards.
