Fiscal Analyst, MI Works

Job Summary
Support the financial operations of Gesher’s workforce development programs (including Michigan Works! centers and related WIOA-funded initiatives). Track and reconcile program expenditures across multiple funding streams, prepare quarterly budgets and forecasts, process invoices, and ensure fiscal compliance with federal, state, and funder requirements. Develop and maintain spreadsheets, templates, and databases to support financial reporting; perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and respond to funder inquiries. Support internal and external audits, maintain organized financial records, and coordinate with program/HR staff on time studies to allocate personnel costs. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with cost accounting, reporting, and data analysis are required to contribute to management decision-making and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Two years of college in finance and/or business required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three years of experience with computer word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting database software required.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
