Job Summary
As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will provide a high-quality early learning program featuring an evidence-based curriculum and instructional activities. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing individual educational plans, establishing a developmentally appropriate classroom environment, conducting ongoing observation and assessment of children's progress, and collaborating with various teams to promote children's developmental goals. To qualify, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in early childhood education, knowledge of early childhood principles, strong communication skills, and experience in diverse settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in early childhood education or an early childhood related field
- Knowledge of principles and practices of early childhood education and family involvement
- Ability to utilize and provide reflective supervision
- Ability to communicate in a manner that demonstrates and fosters cooperation, respect, concern and openness to change
- Advanced command of the English language and grammar, both verbal and written
- Ability to meet deadlines, stay well organized and work under pressure. Ability to prioritize
Desired Qualifications
- Certification preferred
- Early childhood program and/or policy experience
- Experience working successfully in multi-cultural environments serving vulnerable or underserved populations
- Proficiency in multiple software applications, including most Microsoft Office products.
