Job Summary
First Shift Machine Operator Assistant in Indiana: report to the manager and assist the machine operator; follow safety policies and wear PPE; safely handle and store cylinders; maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area; adhere to quality procedures to minimize production waste and eliminate non-conforming products; requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to follow oral and written instructions, and capable of maintaining accurate written records. Must have good eyesight to detect texture and color differences and be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, kneel, stoop, and crouch; capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Pay is $18 per hour; shift is 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday with some mandatory Fridays. Location: New Albany, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to understand and implement oral and written instructions
- Proficient in maintaining accurate written records
- Good eyesight for detecting differences in textures and colors
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
