Job Summary
Assist in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program by supervising clients with emphasis on safety and wellbeing. Act as the liaison between clients and staff to report any changes in physical or mental condition. Support the admission process by answering client questions and assisting them in adjusting to the program routine. This role requires at least rotating weekend shifts from 7am to 3pm and includes a pay range of $20 to $23 per hour. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test, hold a GED or high school diploma, and possess a current CPR card. Located at the Montville Adolescent Center in Towaco, NJ, the team delivers evidence-based counseling and coping-skill development to adolescents struggling with behavioral challenges and substance use disorders.
Required Qualifications
- First shift schedule 7am to 3pm (at least rotating weekend shifts required)
- The ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Completed GED or Highschool Diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates ideally have professional experience or informal personal experience in supporting individuals in substance use recovery
