Job Summary
First Notice of Loss Specialist responsible for delivering excellent customer support through fast, accurate communication, handling 40-60 inbound calls daily, processing claims data and documents, and collaborating with adjusters and departments to resolve inquiries. Roles include FNOL reporting, data entry, document processing, maintaining professional customer interactions across multiple channels, and supporting multiple lines of business including Credit Protection, Debt Cancellation, Property, and Specialty claims. Must manage claims files with clear, empathetic communication, remain flexible to shifts, and demonstrate initiative, strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook, and insurance terminology knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency required
- At least 3 years of customer service experience
- experience in a call center environment preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a claim’s environment
- Experience using 3-4 systems/programs simultaneously
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus
