Job Summary
Oversee daily maintenance and production operations at Army Depot facilities to ensure mission readiness and compliance with strict Department of Defense regulations. Enforce safety policies, track staff attendance, create work schedules, and assign daily tasks while coaching team members to support continuous improvement. Maintain security clearances, monitor department budgets, and resolve operational escalations by providing leadership to technical teams and relaying communication between management and frontline employees. Work overtime as needed to meet mission requirements in on-site office and production settings. Maintain Secret-level security clearance and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least four to six (4-6) years of experience in Army in depot level maintenance and production support
- Minimum of four (4) years' documented management experience managing twenty or more (20+) personnel both directly and indirectly with or in support of the US military
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the maintenance/production and logistics field
- Competent in OSHA general industry health and safety practices and requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, acquisition, supply chain, or relevant equivalency
- Logistics Management experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis, where four (4) additional years of Logistics Management experience may be substituted for a formal college degree
- Individual shall have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
