Job Summary
Manage employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support and develop operational goals. Execute project and process plans while acquiring resources and providing technical management of suppliers. Lead process improvements and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Manage, develop, and motivate employees. Complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Requires at least one year of leadership experience or completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership," plus three years in supplier management or supply chain practices. Must hold an active Yankee White Clearance and be able to work any shift assigned.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- Completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
- 3+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
- Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Ability to work any shift, as assigned
- Active Yankee White Clearance
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met
- Must be able to work any shift assigned
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- A 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- 3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
- 3+ years of experience leading a team or program
- Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts
