Job Summary
First Hand/Jr Draper for Barrington Stage Company (Seasonal, in-person at Pittsfield, MA). Dual-track role supporting the Lead Draper in pattern creation and grading, and serving as the primary Cutter/Draper on designated projects. Responsibilities include preparing alterations from fittings, supervising shop sewing, creating patterns for facings and linings, attending fittings, and taking detailed alteration notes. Requires knowledge of costume construction, basic pattern drafting, ability to manage multiple projects, and comfort working with students and volunteers. Housing available; reports to Costume Shop Supervisor. Seasonal, non-exempt role with start date 4/20/2026 and end date 10/6/2026. Compensation: $17.50-$18.50 per hour.”,
