Job Summary
Provide students with learning activities in core academic subjects for the 2026/2027 school year at Shady Grove Elementary (PK-2). Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum, assess student learning, and plan instruction reflecting diverse learning styles. Collaborate with special education staff and other personnel to modify curricula for IEP/504 plans, manage student behavior, use technology for planning and documentation, and communicate with parents and community. Sponsor extracurricular activities as assigned and adhere to district policies and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
