First Grade Elementary Teacher

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and Texas Education Agency guidelines, adapting instruction to individual student needs and learning styles. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing while managing classroom behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct. Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per Individual Education Plans and work cooperatively with instructional aides and volunteers to oversee activity completion. Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community members, and serve as a positive role model supporting the school district's mission. Maintain all required reports, records, and files while participating in staff development activities and faculty meetings as required.
