Job Summary
The First Assistant Manager at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring compliance with the Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include managing store associates, overseeing daily operations, providing direct guest services, maintaining store conditions, managing sales transactions, and ensuring security. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate in English, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform various physical tasks. The role requires adherence to company policies and state regulations regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand spoken English effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, and accurately make change
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
