Job Summary
The First Assistant Manager at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for delivering outstanding guest service by adhering to The Hi Five Guest Experience standards. This role involves managing associates, overseeing store administration, providing guest services, preparing DipSide items, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining security, ensuring store maintenance, and completing reporting tasks. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to handle transactions, and a willingness to manage various store operations. Legal compliance for sales of alcohol and tobacco is required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers and perform arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise between storage and display locations
- Ability to clean surfaces effectively
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme cold and warm temperatures
- Ability to lift and move specified weights

- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
